During the many years we had retail fine art and fine craft galleries in the South Florida area, we worked with over 1000 artists in both fine art and in fine craft who work in every medium including but not limited to art glass (blown, fused, lampworked, slumped and cast glass), designer art jewelry, oil, watercolor and acrylic paintings, photography, glass, ceramic and metal sculpture, ceramics, pottery, raku, art-to-wear, wood and fountains. Although we specialize in contemporary works, we are open to artists who work in more traditional styles as well. We have always been receptive not only to established artists but also to emerging artists whose work is of the quality we wish to represent. Therefore, if you are an artist who wishes to sell your work on our website, we invite you to contact us about having your work represented here. We have been strictly an online gallery since 2001. We are currently located in Maryland.
PLEASE DO NOT SEND US AN ATTACHMENT ON YOUR FIRST EMAIL. WE DO NOT OPEN UNKNOWN ATTACHMENTS SENT TO OUR EMAIL, AND THEREFORE IF YOUR FIRST EMAIL TO US INCLUDES AN ATTACHMENT, IT WILL NOT BE READ. Instead, please read the information below before contacting us. Then either phone or, to ensure that we do not delete your email as spam, send us an email with the following wording as the subject: "Artist Acceptance Inquiry". Thank you.
TERMS
1. All applicants are juried. We do limit acceptance to those artists whose work we feel is appropriate for our site.
2. With one exception, we limit acceptance to U.S.A. artists due to the fact that the artist is responsible for shipment to the customer, and returns go directly back to you, the artist. The only exception to this rule is if an artist outside of the U.S. is interested in actually consigning jewelry to us. In that case, we would ship the purchase to the customer, as well as accept returns, and therefore we would be able to accept a non-U.S.A. artist's work.
3. We do not charge a setup or monthly fee to have your work displayed for sale here. When your work sells on this site, you will receive your wholesale price plus the actual cost of any drop shipping that you have done for that sale.
4. We handle orders, credit cards, customer service, sales tax if required and marketing. You need only to create your work and drop ship orders to the buyer.
5. We do not require you to consign your work to us. You need only to send us photos, dimensions and the wholesale price of individual pieces that we have agreed to display on the site. We prefer digital photos, but we can also accept slides or prints.
6. We do not require exclusivity.
7. Since we allow our customers to return purchases if we are notified within 7 days of receipt, the artist must be willing to accept returns.
HOW TO CONTACT US:
Please call Nancy at (301) 468-5710, 10:30 a.m.-6 p.m. EST, 7 days, or email us at CustomerService@Ci-Gallery.com. We will be happy to discuss how we work and what steps you need to take to be accepted. For your protection and for ours, we do require a written agreement which outlines both your and our responsibilities should you become one of the artists whose work is displayed for sale here.
If you choose to email us, please include the following information:
1. NAME
2. PHONE NUMBER INCLUDING AREA CODE, TIME ZONE, AND BEST TIME TO CALL
3. EMAIL ADDRESS
4. INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR WORK INCLUDING MEDIUM, STYLE, PRICE RANGE
5. WHETHER OR NOT YOUR WORK HAS EVER BEEN SOLD IN A GALLERY
6. WHETHER OR NOT YOU SELL YOUR WORK AT ART SHOWS
7. PLEASE DO NOT SEND PHOTOS UNTIL WE REQUEST THEM.
Thank you very much for your interest in becoming one of our gallery artists. We look forward to hearing from you!
